Emotes

hi! im onyx :)i'm a variety streamer, content creater and artist from new zealand!i started my online journey as a way to take back my independence after developing a chronic illness called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) that has left me permanently disabled.

im so deeply passionate about streaming and art. i strive to create a safe space in my little corner of the internet for my community, where everyone, no matter your background, is safe and belongs.i love pushing the boundaries of live streaming (and my physical abilities lol) and creating fun, innovative content through chat interactive streams, baking shows, special events, inclusive game nights and more! but my passion truly is in the community - bringing people together, and giving them a place that feels like an online home <3

···•✦⋆⋅ art ⋅⋆✦•···i've been doing art for as long as i can remember. it is my favourite calming activity to do when i have some downtime. i've been taking commissions for my art for around 7 years now! everything you see on any of my social media pages is always entirely made by me. everything from the social media logos on my stream to full thumbnails for videos, my about section, this very website, i make it all!i especially love drawing beautiful fantasy themed women, but i dabble in many many things. i love making everything from a full scale oil painting to cute little twitch emotes and graphics.

since 2017 i tried to force my body to do what was expected of me, to get a normal job and live a ‘normal’ life, but the reality is i can’t. i started streaming in dec 2020 to try and take control of my life. though i had to take a break for two years, i’m so glad to be back and focusing solely on streaming.i want to be independent, i want to have control over my life, do something im passionate about. I want to create a loving, supportive community and give people a safe and fun place to hang out outside of our busy lives. streaming is my passion. this community is my passion. because of YOU i’m not only surviving, but thriving. you’ve changed my life. you’ve given me purpose. whether it’s a lurk, a follow a donation, or a commission it means the absolute world. thank you.•✦⋆⋅☆⋅⋆✦•

Streamtember 2026

What Is Streamtember?Streamtember is an annual event designed to bring streamers together to support one another! It's a challenge for streamers to stream every day in September (or as many as possible - please don't sacrifice your health!) and use the 'Streamtember' tag to find and support each other! How It Works:1 - Stream every day in September (or as many times as your health allows! look after yourself <3 if you miss a day for any reason, you havent failed! pick it up again whenever you're ready <3)2 - Use the tag "Streamtember" in your title / tags and social posts so we can find and support each other!3 - Search the "Streamtember" tag on twitch throughout the month to find people to support, make friends and collaborate. Raid out to people with the tag whenever possible after your streams to keep the support going! And thats it!! There are no real rules - Make it your own and do whatever works for you and your health, but the more we get involved the more love we can spread to our fellow streamers <3OPTIONAL:
4 - Reach out to your communities and streamer friends and encourage them to take part - the more the better! the more we have taking part the more we can promote the event and grow our communities together!5 - Chat with other like-minded streamers in this discord (or elsewhere!) - make friends, collaborate and bounce ideas off one another!6 - On the final day of September I like to do a marathon charity event to celebrate the end of the challenge and give back to a community in need. this is not required but again - the more the merrier!
